Trampoline Fun!

Have I told you how much I love having a trampoline. Hours and hours of fun and exercise.  I am also loving that it has a net around it.  Ava loves the tramp, so it is nice to put her on and zip up the net so I know she will not fall of.  She crawls around, and rolls around, and smiles and laughs.  Marie is jumping higher and higher everyday, and the boys are making up new fun games......of course the boys do a lot wrestling too, which is not allowed!  I am so thankful for this fun purchase!

She thinks they're all hers!

Love these two snuggle buddies!

Climbing Trees

I don't know what it is about climbing trees and boys, but I do know I am so glad we have some great trees in our back yard to keep them busy. Just praying they don't cause any broken bones in the future!

Pig Tails and Graham Crackers

I have to admit it is pretty fun to have a baby with such long hair.  She has been wearing pigtails for a long time.  And she wears them well!! Also I am pretty sure there isn't any problem to big that a Graham Cracker won't fix.  She would eat these all day if I let her!

Spent a wonderful day at Temple Square with a few of my best friends, Amy, Jessi, and Lindsey.  We had a nice visit and spent some time at City Creek, eating lunch and letting the kids climb on the play area.  Then we walked around Temple Square and had fun playing at the Church History Museum.  Daniel did a fun Spanish dance in the kids play area, he was all dressed up and everything. I'm so glad I got that on video.

I am so thankful to have such wonderful friends that have been a part of my life for most of my life. It is also a wonderful thing to be able to raise our children together and see them play together.  We are all so blessed to have each other and to be able to help each other through all our many experiences.

Family Reunion

We had a family reunion this summer for the Galli side of the family.  I worried a little about going because it was an over nighter and I was going to be by myself with all four children since Matt had to work.  I decided it would be fun for the kids so I went.  We were able to stay in my parents old tent trailer, which I know the kids thought was just AMAZING!  We had great food, a talent show, a little dancing, and of course a fire with s'mores.  That night sleeping in the trailer was the WORST.  It got so cold and I was really not prepared for that.  Also Ava did not sleep well at all and I worried about her waking everyone up so I pretty much had to try to console her all night long.  She would not just snuggle in my sleeping bag with me, so I think she was pretty cold.  She kept getting up and climbing all over me.  She would not go to sleep and I finally just gave up on any sleep as well.  The next morning we had breakfast and played around while visiting and then headed home.  I think the kids had a good time, and it was fun to see all the family on my moms side that I rarely get to see anymore. I wish Matt could have been there, but it does make me realize that it is important for me to do these things with the kids whether he can come or not. I am so thankful for extended family, and my own little family of course too!

When the boys watch the baby........

I left the boys in charge of keeping an eye on Ava and just keeping her happy for a few minutes while I ran inside for something. When I come out, this is what I find. Poor thing!! I guess I learned my lesson!

Summer Fun

Well we now know that you do not mess with Grandma Lorz when it comes to a water fight. She will win and she will get you back 100 times worse than you got her.

It's been such a fun summer, especially the days spent with Cathy and her kids.  I am so glad that my kids get along so well with her kids and that they love being together.  I think Ava has had more ice cream than anyone her age should be eating!! But what a great and messy way to cool off.  The kids are loving their swim lessons and afternoons spent at the Splash Park.  They love playing in Grandmas Park behind her house, especially the big volley ball sand pit.  We stay busy and happy and are doing way to little chores and school work.......but I think we have our priorities straight!
