It can be messy and a lot of work but we make sure we do it every year. This was Marie's first experience actually helping clean out a pumpkin. She loved watching but was a little grossed out to touch anything. She ended up going to bed and we finished without her. It's always a great time for the boys. They bugged me the whole night to roast the pumpkin seeds, and then as soon as I did they would barely even try one. It was a fun night carving pumpkins with my own cute little pumpkins.

It is a lot of work carving a pumpkin and you guys carved a lot. They turned out so cute. You guys are awesome parents and making wonderful memories for your kids.
