My father is wise, kind, forgiving, industrious, frugal, fair, artistic, handy, fun, and of course handsome.

My husband is, sweet, smart, sensitive, humorous, loving, patient, appreciative, generous, complementary, and so very good-looking!

I was raised by the best father and am now married to a wonderful father. I am truly BLESSED.

All things "SPEED!"

It's the new obsession around here....the "Cars" movie. Since the boys can't say Lightning McQueen they have decided to call him "Speed!" First thing in the morning "where's Speed?" right after nap "where's Speed?" all day long "Speed, Speed, Speed!" Thanks to Grandma Lorz we now have the "Cars" movie and the boys have their very own Speed cars. We love you Grandma Lorz and we LOVE our new Speed cars!!

A few weeks ago I told Matt that I might be getting a little baby hungry for a cute little girl to do her hair and dress her all up. His reply... " why? we already have Daniel!"
It's ok Daniel, even if you do love lotion, perfume, creams, makeup, hair accessories, high heals, jewelry, cleaning, dress ups, cooking, handbags, and lots of lip gloss!! You are still ALL BOY......just a very well rounded little boy and someday you will be somebody's perfect PRINCE!!

We FINALLY decided to make popcorn with the boys for the first time EVER!! We made a whole Family Night of it. Matt even came up with a spur of the moment lesson relating us to a corn kernel and how life is like the popcorn machine. We get spun around and we are at times uncomfortably hot but as we do what's right and endure to the end we may eventually turn into a beautifully popped kernel of corn. The boys actually seemed to pay attention, and enjoy the little object lesson. The best part of course, chowing down on some delicious buttery popcorn!!

A little bug....times two.

A lot of throwing up, a LOT of diaper changes, a lot of baths, a lot of movies, and a lot of sterilizing! Glad it's over and especially glad Matt was around to help. And the little white bucket.... that was just wishful thinking. They may have made it in that about 3% of the time, but that was a few less times for me to scrub the carpet.

Some day I hope to have my own Apiary. Yes it's true, for a long time I have been fascinated by the magnificent Bee and would love to be a Beekeeper. I Was so excited when my friend Katy invited me to go with her for a full day Beekeeping workshop. We learned so much about the beautiful Honeybee. We also learned everything we would need to know to be a beekeeper. We tasted many different kinds of honey.....Cranberry honey being my favorite. We were able to see real bees in action up VERY close, and to top it all off we left with two bottles of our own local honey.

I can't wait for the day when I am able to extract my own honey from my own honeybees, and know what plants my bees have been visiting just from the delicious smell of the honey. You may laugh now.....but I think you'll be excited when you get a jar of honey from me each year at Christmas!!

Pirates, real ships, snow cones, balloons, gold coins, pirate jewelry, and a cool fountain to play in. I don't think we could have planned a better day for two cute little boys!

I can't get enough of this song. Maybe it's because I love Jon Schmidt, or because Taylor Swift is a favorite of mine, or it could be because this is my favorite Coldplay song, or maybe it's because my heart wants to burst when I watch others using their amazing musical talents. I guess it's all of the above!!
