Christmas in a nutshell.
We decorated little houses with candy, and dressed up like Rudolph, Daniel loved his visit with Santa telling him EXACTLY what he wanted for Christmas....Nathan wouldn't get near Santa. We had a wonderful Christmas eve party at Grandma and Grandpa Noel's complete with a wonderful dinner, a talent show, opening of presents and a beautiful nativity put on by the grand kids, where Nathan and Daniel starred as cows. We were able to see lots of Christmas lights, of course our favorite being at the Salt Lake temple. The boys received a Geotrax train that they are still OBSESSED with and they opened the rest of their Christmas presents(for the second time:(!! We have been busy but happy and it has been a wonderful holiday season! Merry Christmas and Happy new year from the Lorz family!

Christmas came early.....by mistake.
"Goodnight, we love you....remember to stay in your beds!" Those were suppose to be the last words we said for the day to our two little twinkies.
An hour later I crack open the door to check on them, fully expecting to see two little angels zonked out in their beds. Instead I don't see my boys at all. I do see the closet light on and the closet door open, with two little boys huddled together in the closet actually whispering(for some reason they don't know how to whisper at church) tearing into the shopping bags that were high on the closet shelf and ripping open their Christmas presents. I was pretty upset and they both went crawling back to bed in tears.
When I brought the bag of open toys out to show my parents and Matthew....they had a good laugh, I guess it's kind of funny....or maybe it will be after Christmas is over this year.

I miss you.
So today is officially our very first full night away from our boys. So what exciting, wonderful, events took place? We went to Wingers, I took a bubble bath, and then Matthew and I looked at pictures and watched videos of Nathan and Daniel on his laptop, while we played Coldplay's song "I miss you," over and over again................I know we are pathetic!

A few moments from our life.
Grandma Noel loves to hide and pop up different places all over the house to scare the boys. I don't know who loves it more, her or them.
Fun with cousin Abby
watching t.v. in Grandma Noel's bed. Her bed is very comfortable....I don't blame them.

SNOW DAY!!
My boys have been waiting a loooong time for this day. They can NOT stop talking about playing in the snow and building a snowman, or as they would say a kokan(yes, that means snowman.) We just haven't had much snow...until this week.
Pretty much the cutest thing EVER to see your babies all bundled up to the point that they can barely walk. Daniel wasted no time digging into that snow and devouring it. He could not stop eating it the whole time he was outside. It shows by his red face once he came back inside. I guess it's sand in Florida and Snow in Utah....yummmy!!

Ogden Christmas parade.
An almost PERFECT Thanksgiving
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year, spent with great family and delicious food. We also celebrated the November birthdays which includes my brother Eddie, myself, and my sister Natalie. So we had three cakes to eat along with all the pies my mom made. We had fun playing football outside while the little boys played on the teeter totter. I know it looks like a PERFECT day but something very important was missing........my cute husband Matthew, who was still in Florida slaving away and studying for finals. We missed him, we are proud of him, and you better believe he will be with me for sure next time Thanksgiving rolls around!!
I know I messed this picture up!! It's suppose to show all three of us with our burning birthday candles.
Thanksgiving is not Thanksgiving without balloon turkeys. Thanks mom
My cute nieces(kendra and Sydney) came the night before Thanksgiving to help make Birthday cakes and set the table for the big feast. They are so adorable and my boys had so much fun with them. They also put a LOT of time and thought into the place settings for the table. It was so cute to see them working together to make sure everyone was sitting in the exact right spot. I just love these girls.
