A WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE......

I love this tag.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. I will revisit your blog and leave a memory as well!! Happy Memory making!!

Uh...so hard to think of just one memory! You're one of my favorite people of all time! I also remember being training sisters together and doing those silly interviews with the other Sisters where we "tried" to be serious and determine any issues anyone was having... And, we did yack a LOT! But, I think I needed it. I would search you out and be so excited to see you and talk to you--it was always a good day if our shifts overlapped. I remember going to that Halloween party together after we were married and having to play certain parts for the murder/mystery game. I was barely pregnant and so nauseus! I was chopping crackers in the back seat during the whole drive up the canyon to Brigham City. I remember your DELICIOUS dinner you made when you were 13 months pregnant with twins and invited us over. Why was it not us inviting you over? Sorry! And...the fun memory of seeing you as a mom and walking to Sam's Club to check prices on photo frames.

I remember when I did your home work so you would like me....LOL I also remember sitting on your floor while you were in bed talking to you about all my troubles. Glad I have such a good friend....Must have been all the homework I have done for you!

Lots of fun memories of my time with you! I loved sitting on our beds talking while we should have been sleeping. I used to hide in funny places (like kitchen cupboards) to make you laugh. I remember you prepping me to meet miranda! You did good! Thats more than one, but there are just so many!

You are funny! I remember too seeing you guys for the first time in Sunday School, and that after we talked to you...Nick and I hoped that you guys would be friends with us! Yet another reason why he called matt into the presidency with him ha ha! Anyways I remember thinking it was so exciting that you were going to have twins! Also I remember you just kept coming...what I mean is that even when you should have had that babies with any normal twin pregnancy you were a real trooper and just kept coming! I am so glad we got to be friends! You and Matt are awesome!

Oh for heavens sake, where to start...My first memory is finding out that we were going to be companions, and I was so excited because you looked so sweet in your picture. When I met you in real life, I was a little nervous because I thought you'd be a snot, because you were pretty!! HAHA I think I'm the one that was the snot. Remember when I didn't talk to you for like two days because you had the stomach flu! What an awesome friend. Let's see, our trauma with PAT! Meeting Peta in the laundry room and practically laughing our heads off in his face. The wall of fame, washing our clothes with febreeze, the ozone machine...to purify our nasty apartment. Almost getting arrested because we were leaving goodies on peoples porches and driving away like maniacs, "cry sessions", farting every night and then laughing like it was the funniest thing ever; throwing a thong at you because you were snoring; sleeping with that stupid box fan on in the dead of winter so I wouldn't hear you snore!finding out that our mom's were long lost twins (death of the eye lady). Predicting that you would have twins...and you calling me all freaked out because you were having twins. Man, I'm laughing too hard right now. We have so many memories because we were eternal companions!!

OKay, so many come to mind! Like the time the shower curtain failed at Boy scout camp... or just plain boy scout camp... concerts, boys, talking on the phone. One of my favorites was having my date drop me off at your house and we would make nachos at midnight and laugh about what dorks we went out with!

I remember coming to you for good hugs. We all wanted to talk to you when we needed it. I also remember you and all of your crazy stories with Lloyd!

Where do I begin? So many memories with Mern. I believe the memory you would choose is when we were little and I was rude to you. But to be honest, I really don't remember that. So here's my fave memory of you:

Remember that one time we all had a sleepover (I believe it was at Amos' house). You and I couldn't sleep, so we made our own entertainment...in peoples faces!!!

Good times, good times!

Ok, just one more for old times sake. Being 13ish, playing Barbies for the last time and you deciding your Barbie would be homeless. It made me mad at the time, but I love it now!

Funny.... Some of my memories is when you were in high school and you always thought you were so fat, so you were drinking "slim Fast" all the time (along with a twinkie;)" I remmeber Shanno and I trying to tell you that one day you'd look back at your high school pictures and think "why in the world did I think I was fat then. I'd love to look like that now!!" YOU NEVER LISTENED!!! I remember when you were going to prom or some high school dance and you had on a beautiful dress and your hair was so pretty and long and you looked just like an angel. (I always thought you were sooo pretty!!)

I remember going out to the "stable...no, what do ya call that?" anyway going out back and you introducing me to your new horse "Ledoux". You were so proud of him.

I loved what good friends we were. You always had me laughing about something!!!

It's impossible to leave just one memory so I'm leaving ten of of favorites.

10. When you made me a true aggie
9. Watching scary movies together
8. Meeting you my very first day in Logan when you were with your friends (although I still don't approve of that Amy as a friend)
7. Living in that creepy basement apartment. Remember the one with the deadly spiders, a toilet that flooded the basement twice, 5 ft ceiling, carpet walls, sewage in our shower, and a stove we were scared to touch because it electrocuted us. Just talking about it makes me miss it again.
6. Seeing you in the parking lot the day we were getting married. (I was so happy you actually showed up!)
5. Just hanging out with you and your AWESOME friends.
4. Our trips to Maryland when we were dating. Remember when I got on the subway and you didn't quite make it. I'll never forget the look on your face as the train left you on the platform and I was inside the train.
3. Hearing you laugh really hard. You know the laugh were EVERYBODY within a 1 mile radius turns to stare because it is so unique. I love that laugh, it's one of my favorite things.
2. Seeing you hold Nathan and Daniel for the first time.
1. Getting to kneel across from by BEST friend at the altar.

Marianne you are such a blessing and I love you.

Love,
Matthew

Oh Noel! So many great memories come to my mind! You were the best trainer ever. I remember you just laughing all the time. I needed that stress break. One of my very favorites was at Theresa's house. Do you remember? I had to teach the law of chastity to her boyfriend. "The law of chastity says that we don't rape each other." Wow, was I a greenie or what!

I think I heard more stories and wonderful things about you than I actually had to opportunity to experience in person, but here are two of my favortes. So, I found out you were pregnant with twins and the next time I saw you, I remember that you had the sweetest "pregnant glow" about you. I know people say that pregnant women glow because they persperate more, but you were radiating joy and I loved that. The second memory I have is one from Matt. In a world full of terrible things, you two have a love that is true, real, and centered in the gospel and I've always loved how much you all love eachother. I know your marriage probably has it's ups and downs and disagreements like any other, but I could tell that you all are committed and that's a breath of fresh air.

Marianne, so many memories, so little time to write. Remember when we "snuck" into the Concert at Weber State? (I can't remember who was playing, that Mexican country guy, he was so funny and awesome!) Or remember the good old DI? and Will would stare at you all day long and say "Marianne, Marianne, I have something to tell you, oh, I think I forgot" Or sleeping on the mattress' upstairs when we were supposed to be working, or sneaking to the chinese place across the street? Or good old logan, staying up all night with Doug and Travis (Do you hear a water fall? or they can't kiss longer than us! (Becoming a true aggie) Or when they peed on the fire and we were so grossed out!! The fabulous days of going dancing, making pancakes, studying, crying, and LAUGHING at stupid boys? My favorit was Mat (not your hubby) but that one guy we met at the concert we snuck into, well you dated him for a while then broke it off, then years later you made me call his mom and ask for his phone number? then he brought you cheesecake when you were out on another date, and he was so sad and left a 20 min long message on your phone and we just laughed and laughed??? good times, good times!

Remember when I went on teamups with you in Liberty and introduced you to Sheri Dougherty? You got to sit and have a lovely chat with her while I entertained her drunk friend...she put her head on my lap and shook me violently...she left the room, came back with a cigarette, got chased out of the room...she invited us to the gambling boats and I invited her to be baptized. I still tell that story!

Sorry I'm late on posting... I'll always remember teaching the Campbells with you and David Campbell proclaiming (about you) that no one could possible enjoy life that much and be that happy without the use of drugs or alcohol! I also remember shaking on a doorstep from nerves and you said how much you LOVED tracting! I thought you were crazy, but you simply said you loved the surprise of seeing who was behind the door. Thanks for good memories at the beginning of the mission - you and Brooke alike.
