Sweet Marie.

Wow, this little girl keeps us BUSY, and on our toes.  She makes us smile and laugh everyday.  She is learning so many words and she can communicate so well.  She still is a great little cuddler and she loves chocolate.  She says chocolate so cute and it seems to cure every little problem(which I know is not a great thing for her in the future, but it's her daddy's fault!)  We all have so much fun with her and she is just so sweet.  She loves nursery and she loves bubbles. She has never once had a problem going into Nursery and even wanted to go before she was 18 months old.  I feel so lucky to be her mom, she is so fun to dress and do her hair.  She gets sooo many compliments on her cute cowgirl boots.  We love this little girl so much and can't believe how soon she will be turning 2!! We love you Marie, thank you for making our home a little bit brighter!!

Disney on Ice

Thanks to Grandma Lorz this is the second year in a row that we have been able to see Disney on Ice.  The kids love it, and I enjoy watching it as well.  This year it was a lot about the Disney Princesses.  I'm so happy I have my own little Princess to share my love of Cinderella with.  Hopefully Marie will come to love these magical stories the way I do!!

Turning 6!

What a fun Birthday celebration this year.  Now that we are officially home owners it has been fun to have some great kids in our neighborhood and ward.  The boys were able to invite some cute friends to their party and we had a great, but VERY crazy time.  It is harder than I thought it would be trying to wrangle so many kids, even if it is only for a couple of hours, I was pooped by the end.  Of course we celebrated again that night with Grandma Lorz, Marie, and Daddy.  The boys had a Sports themed party and they opened presents of Legos, video games, Ninja Turtle gear and so much more!!  I was so proud of Daniel because a few days later he put together his first little Lego project all by himself by following the directions.  He would make a great architect or builder some day.

I am so thankful for Nathan and Daniel.  Nathan is such a great big brother and loves to be with his family and make his little sister laugh.  He gets so excited about sports and wants to be a football player.  He already know more about football than I do.  Daniel is one of the most thoughtful children I know.  He really does want to make other people happy. He is always trying to give away things that mean a lot to him to make others happy.  He is always telling me what he will do for me or buy me when he older and has a job.  He is very deep thinker and he has so much love in his heart!! I love my boys so much and I am so thankful to be their mommy.  I feel so blessed to have their cute little personalities in my home.

Just like dad.

Caught the boys in the bathroom shaving.  Luckily they keep the plastic covers on the razors like their daddy taught them.  It's so cute to see them wanting to be just like their dad!

Preschool Graduation

The boys were so blessed to have such a great preschool and so close to our home.  The teacher was Miss Lori.  She had the same philosophy as me when it came preschool and learning.  The kids sang so many cute songs and had such a great time.  By the end of the school year we had already moved to Logan, so we came back down to Farmington for the graduation.  My mom was able to come and Matt was able to surprise us by leaving work early to make it in time.  We were all so excited to see him there.  It was a great year and think it really prepared them for Kindergarten!

We try to get together as a family for all the birthdays, which means we usually see each other every month.  It is so much fun for the cousins to spend time together and I love seeing my brothers and sisters.  At this party my mom had brought purses home from California for all of the girls.  She tried to match each purse to each of our personalities.  I think she did a great job!

Moving day

Although we were very excited to move back to Logan for Matt's new job, it still was a hard to leave Farmington behind. We loved where we lived and our ward was great! We made some great memories in that cute little house, but we were more than ready to move on. It had been a difficult year for Matt and he was so excited for his new job offer in Logan. Once we found out we were moving we had very little time to pack and find a place to live. We finally found a little home close to Matt's moms house and we were blessed because they let us rent it even before we actually bought it. While we were moving in and unpacking we stayed with Matt's mom.  It was not easy knowing if we should really unpack everything because we weren't positive we would be able to close on the home. Luckily it all worked out and we were able to buy the home we wanted! I am so glad the move is over.  We have moved so many times in our marriage and it is nice to finally be settled in a home that is good for our family and a ward that we love.
