Growing up

 

She wants to be just like her big brothers and loves to wear their back packs.  She looks so cute in her little skinny jeans, and she is always in the action trying to help me or her daddy.  She is growing up fast, but I have a feeling she will always be my baby.

 

Zoo day

 

We were spoiled with the best Zoo ever when we lived in Jacksonville Florida, we went all the time and had so much fun.  Here in Utah the Zoo is not quite comparable but still fun.  Our favorite part was watching the Polar Bear swimming under water.  We weren't able to get a picture of him, just a picture of the kids waiting for him to come back.  I love the pictures of my kids in the Lion water fountain.  It is special to me because I stuck my head in that same lions mouth when I was their same age and even younger.  The kids always love the merry go round but Marie was not too sure of it.  By the end she was holding onto Matt for dear life. No crying just holding on scared for her little life.  It was a hot day but we were glad to get to spend time with daddy!!

 

 

Favorite Things.

 

Marie is about 15 months in these pictures and they are a perfect example of what she is loving to do right now.  She is obsessed with books.  She will bring you book after book and then she will pat your leg telling you to follow her then she will go over the the couch and pat the seat, telling you to sit down, then she will back up to you so you can pick her up and read to her. She will do this all day if you let her.  She also loves to play with her tea set and she LOVES to brush her teeth.  She will go to the sink multiple times a day asking for you to turn it on.  She will then put her toothbrush in the running water and in her mouth over and over again.  She is such a joy to watch grow up.  She is so different then the boys at this age, and it is fun to recognize those differences.  She is for sure all girl and I am so excited to continue to watch her grow up. 

 

 

 

Football Season 2012

 

The best year in all of my history to be an Aggie fan, and we were fortunate to have season tickets!!  The Aggies won every home game we went to, one of the most fun games was the win against one of our rivals University of Utah.  We had so much fun sitting with my brother Steve his wife Wendy and all of their kids.  It was great to get to see them so often and kids loved being with their cousins. We also loved spending time with some of our best friends in Logan.  We all got to sit together during every game.  We had so much fun cheering on the Aggies and seeing them win.  We are such huge Utah State fans and we had seen them loose so much over the years so this year meant so much to us and we felt so lucky to be a part of it all.  Marie did so well at all of the games.  Now every time she sees a football she puts her little arms in the air and says "YAAA!!!"  It makes her daddy proud to have another football fan in the family.  Hopefully we get to enjoy another great football season in 2013!!
