Ava's Photo Shoot and Family Pictures

I felt so honored when one of my good friends asked if Ava could be her headband model.  I also looking back see it as such a blessing.  Had she not been asked I don't know that I would have had any professional newborn pictures of Ava.  Pictures make stress me out so I put them off until it's too late and my babies are not newborns anymore.  I feel so blessed to have these pictures and more blessed to have such a beautiful baby.

A Welcome Home and Summertime Fun

Luckily my parents came home from their mission from Russia not too long after Ava was born.  In fat she was only about 4 weeks old.  We were so excited to see them and it was such a great welcome home party. A few weeks later was the 24th of July. My parents surprised us by coming to Logan to celebrate with us.  It was so fun to be with them again.  This summer just flew by so fast. Having a newborn does that  I guess!!

Ava's first weeks

Looking back now it probably was a little crazy taking a Ava to the Aquarium down in Sandy. I think I was getting a little stir crazy and sometimes I feel like i am happiest when I am out doing things instead of stuck at home trying to entertain my kids.  Ava was probably only barely 2 weeks old. It started out fun but my incision started to hurt pretty badly near the end.  Ava did great though. She has been my best and easiest little nurser. I have never once had a problem nursing her. I love her more an more each day and find it hard not to take a picture of every little thing she does.  I also included some pictures of Marie and Daniel.  Daniel did Marie's hair and they were both really proud of it.  I love when my kids have fun together.
