Not complaining......just (venting)
Well, I would have to say Spring break ended quite abruptly and we are sure missing it now. If your up to date on my posts you may have read where I mentioned my boys "catching" more than just the nasty rubber ducks at the fair. Well I was right and whatever they caught we all now have. It has been a hard week to say the least. We have all been dealing with coughs, sore throats, sinus problems, cold and flu symptoms, and now some weird eye infection (I was going to take a picture of us all but believe me it is NOT pretty). I feel especially bad for the babies. Somehow, I guess moms are just able to forget how bad they feel when there is a family to take care of, but today was one of those days were I just didn't know how I was going to take care of two sick toddlers by myself. Matt had to jump right back into school and had a huge paper due this week so last night he pulled an "all nighter" which I am sure wasn't easy since he is sick. With him getting to the end of the semester and having so many important assignments due he can't really help me out as much as he would like. Today the babies have been so "clingy" just wanting to be held which is impossible with only one set of arms. I tried to be fair and take turns holding them but when I put one down to trade for the other I would get this look, like I was so mean and then the baby I put down would burst into tears. Little Nathan threw so many temper tantrums and I had never seen him so sad and upset in my life. It's hard to explain to a one year old why I'm holding his brother instead of him even though your both sick (they don't quite get it). I felt overwhelmed and had to say many prayers...(thank goodness for prayer). I know that I am sooo blessed to be a mother and wouldn't change my circumstance for anything. I have to believe that Heavenly Father knows what he's doing when he decides to send babies down two at a time to only one mother. I am thankful he chose me for this opportunity. My challenges don't even compare to what others may be facing at this time, but that is why I don't call it complaining, just.....venting. In high school I could vent to my best friends, in college my roommates, on my mission my "Liberty Jail family," in marriage my husband, but when your husband is not coherent because he's sick and going on two days of no sleep, then I get to vent to YOU....my blogging buddies. Thanks for letting me vent:)

Spring Break
We have had one fun week. Matt has had Spring break and his sister Cathy came from Ohio with her little boy Ethan who is the same age as our twins. We were able to go to the Zoo, the fair, the park, the beach, and swimming in our own backyard with our new little pool. The boys have had so much fun playing together and I have to say it has been pretty exciting with three one year old boys running around!!
This is Daniel after we stopped him from eating the sand. After awhile we just gave up on the eating sand thing and that's pretty much what he had for lunch.

A day at the mall
We decided that it's not the best idea to let your babies ride the toys at the mall. Everytime they see the rides now they HAVE to go on them and Matt always gives in. He doesn't just let them ride one ride he makes sure they get to go on all four. This day they got to go on a train, a truck, an ice cream truck and a roller coaster. They had a blast and we had a lot of fun seeing their smiles. It was a fun day at the mall made even better because this week is Spring break for Matt and we are so excited to see a lot more of him around!!

I'M BAAAAAACK
Ok, so it has been FOREVER since I last blogged and believe me I have gone through withdrawls. Let me just tell you our little story of misfortune. It has to do with coming home from Utah and flying on Southwest. I was going to tell the whole story but there wouldn't be enough space and I have explained it waaaayyy to many times. SO......to make a long story short our luggage was delayed and when it finally showed up we went to pick it up and a Southwest employee had already given our bags without checking ID's to somebody else!!! All three of our bags, clothes, personal items, Christmas presents, everything our twins own was STOLEN. I spent a day in tears but then realized it is just stuff and they promised to reimburse us...even though we feel a lot of the items could not be replaced with money. It has been a huge hassle trying to get the money we deserve being as they have some crazy policy that they wouldn't cover any of our boys items since they were lap babies, even though we shouldn't be part of that policy considering our bags were not lost they were given away by an employee and it was their negligence. Thank goodness for family and friends who have come to the rescue sending us money and gift cards so we could purchase the things we needed while we waited for southwest to come through. We are just finally starting to get some of our money. Anyway, once we got home we realized our internet had been shut off cause we didn't pay the bill while we were in Utah...OOPS! Talk about kicking us while were down:) So I guess that explains why I have not been on the internet. Also you may be wondering why no pictures? Well it's just our luck that our camera containing pictures of our boys first Christmas was in our luggage:( On the bright my wonderful dad downloaded most of our pictures onto his computer before we came back to Utah (what a blessing). So now you know our little misfortune...but I will say it is "little" because we are happy and healthy and doing well. Matt did great in his first semester of law school and our babies just celebrated thier first birthday. They are as cute as ever and starting to walk. My parents got to come out to Florida for thier birthday and we had so much fun. I guess the only thing that has been missing in my life is all my blogging buddies. But I am now back and I can't wait to get caught up on all your lives again. I have missed you all and I look forward to many blogs ahead!!
